Blazecut Fire Suppression
We are pleased to have partnered with Blazecut, a fire suppression system manufacturer and specialist that delivers the latest in technologies.
BlazeCut has globally pioneered the advancement in cylinder-less fire suppression systems with the BlazeCut T Series systems. This system is a simple and cost-effective fire protection device for small to medium electrical switchboards and enclosures.
The system consists of a heat-sensitive tube manufactured with special proprietary thermal plastic and closed by stainless steel fittings on each end. The tube has both storage and detection functions, which means the extinguishing agent is stored directly in the tube with no additional storage device such as a cylinder required.

Hickey Electrical offers expert thermal imaging for electrical switchboards and components. Our team are Level 1 Certified Thermographers who are committed to ongoing skills development and training.
We provide detailed thermal imaging reports for insurance requirements, preventative maintenance programs and scheduled compliance.
Testing & Compliance
Electrical Test & Tagging
Hickey Electrical provides comprehensive Test & Tagging services, including onsite printed tags for appliances and RCDs, with digital logging and reporting of results. All testing is conducted in accordance with AS/NZS 3760:2022 – In-service safety inspection and testing of electrical equipment.
Exit & Emergency Lighting
We carry out scheduled testing of exit and emergency lighting in accordance with AS/NZS 2293.2:2019 – Emergency evacuation lighting for buildings – Inspection and maintenance.
Fire Extinguisher & Blanket Testing
Our team also conducts fire extinguisher and fire blanket inspections and testing in accordance with AS 1851:2012 – Routine service of fire protection systems and equipment.
